Customs Duties

Every country charges customs duties for imported items. This section will help you navigate duties and facilitate ease of payment for your country. Please read the information below for guidance.

Customs Duties & DDP Assistance

International orders are processed as DAP (Delivered At Place) by default.

DAP (Delivered At Place) means we ship the order to your destination, but any applicable import duties, taxes, or customs clearance charges are paid by the customer when the shipment arrives or is processed by customs.

For customers who prefer DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), we offer a separate Duty Assistance service.

DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) means the import duties and related customs charges are paid in advance before delivery is completed.

If you would like us to assist with DDP:

  1. Submit the Duty Assistance form

  2. We will request the exact duty amount from our freight forwarding partner

  3. We will send you the confirmed amount and a payment link

  4. Once payment is received, we will proceed with DDP handling.

Please note that DDP assistance is optional and is only arranged after the exact duty amount has been confirmed.

Global Customs Duties for Electronics

Welcome to our comprehensive duties guide. Below you'll find the import duty and sales tax rates for our most popular electronics categories. Each product links to a detailed table with rates for over 130 countries.

How to Calculate the Total Duty Percentage

For each product and destination country, the total duty you will pay is the sum of three components:

  • Duty Rate (the basic import tariff)

  • Excise Rate (an additional tax on specific product categories, where applicable)

  • Sales Tax / VAT (the local consumption tax)

Simply add these three percentages together to get the total percentage of the product's value that you will owe upon import.

HS Codes: What They Are and How to Find Them

Each product is classified under a specific HS Code (Harmonized System code) — a standardized international system for naming and categorizing traded products. If you're curious to see what HS code your country uses for a particular item, you can simply Google "HS code for [product name] in [your country]" (for example, "HS code for smart watch in Australia"). This will show you the official classification used by your local customs authority. It's a quick way to satisfy your curiosity or to verify details before making an international purchase.
